This breezy, spacious 3bhk apartment has a feature that most homeowners in Navi Mumbai would love to own- a deck that not just spans the length of the flat, but also has spectacular views of the Palm Beach. We employed a white-gold palette to retain and enhance the porosity of the space while adding splashes of aureate classic luxury. Using large mirrors expanded the space visually as it reflects natural light and creates a lively ambience. We cladded Travertine marble with horizontal brown mirror inserts on a highlight wall- giving the space a rich optic texture. Finally, colour in the form of royal maroon cushions, upholstery and statement chairs was sprinkled across-binding the theme together. The washrooms have a contrasting oceanic vibe- with sea blue tiles, ceramic and granite working their magic to create a cool, calming space.

We augmented the deck to be a lot more both spatially and programmatically. The clients wished for an outdoor bar area and we amped it up with custom made pole lights, wooden ceramic flooring and a chamfered Italian marble edge for seating. The automated retractable awnings and waterproof casual sit out furniture ensures a lively outdoor gathering even during the monsoons. Providing ample greens and blooming Bougainvillea on the deck brings the inhabitants closer to nature- a strategy that we would gladly repeat in all our designs.
