Perpetually in flux- this project is Niti Pande’s own residence. Making it a homeground for all her experimentations in designs, decor and is a space that truly reflects who she is as a person. The living room is a repository of all things exquisite. The chaise, low seating and sofas are tied together by a Teak wood and Onyx piece with a Mother of Pearl inlay. The floral upholstery and motif based cushion covers are accompanied by carefully set up decor which are mostly artefacts that she has collected over her travels. She is a proud owner of multiple original artworks, all housed in this space. Pichwai art and Mughal miniature paintings elevate the visuals of the place. Be it the side tables, intricately carved mirrors or custom woven statement chairs- each has a story to tell. An abundance of greens and sunlight seep in from either side of the living room, making it breezy and calm.
Each bedroom is vibrant in its unique way. The grey textured furniture in her daughters’ bedroom helps highlight the tropical printed wallcovering and fabrics. The enclosed bookshelf and granite ledge creates a cosy reading corner. The guest bedroom is a botanical delight- with thriving bougainvillaea and prints that compliment the vibe. The master bedroom is a rich luxurious space with a tufted headboard as a centrepiece and is a backdrop for an assortment of cushions with floral prints. Here, a backlit open bookshelf with brass verticals accommodates a bunch of her favourite books and belongings.
