About Niti Pande
Niti Pande is the founder and creative director at NP Design. Her style and aesthetic can be traced back to her formative years in Gwalior, a city renowned for its royal palaces and intricate temples. With a deep love for textures, decor and an affinity for building beauty, she trained as an interior designer post acquiring a masters degree in Arts from Sophia College, Ajmer. An accomplished veteran today, Niti is known for her adept visualisation skills and intuitive designing capabilities. As a little girl, she would spend hours in her haveli’s garden- planting and tending to seedlings that are now majestic trees. Her love for greens continues to foreground her designs- she is a certified professional in Bonsai art, terrarium design, plantscaping, and hydroponic systems.
With a keen eye for art works and an admiration for meticulous craftsmanship- she makes it a point to foster the creations of laborious love in her projects. For instance, Pichwai art from Rajasthan, sculptures of Buddha from Bali, Indian carved panels are integral elements of her trademark style today. She has a flair for collecting objects from across the globe and transforming them into exquisite artefacts that one can cherish in their spaces. A people person at heart, Niti believes in collaborating for the longer run while keeping people's best interests in mind is at the top of her priorities. Be it her clients or her team, she has kindled relationships that have stood the test of time.
The Team
Any act of building value happens by the coming together of several skill sets. At NP Design, the team consists of architects, contractors, carpenters, masons, painters, vendors, technicians, services consultants, 3D visualisers & more- each a seasoned entity in their respective field. Helming them is Niti Pande who believes that the studio’s biggest strength is their ability to work as a harmonious collective. Majority of the team here has been working together for about twenty years now and have immensely contributed to the growth of the studio. Along with her core personnel, Niti outsources tasks to artists, refurbishment experts to achieve the highest standard of customisations. She consciously reaches out to small scale vendors and skilled karigars pan India through social media. She works towards providing a platform for artisans from the remotest of places to showcase their talent and work.
